TAX DAY RALLY!!
Many of us feel that this has been a very disappointing year and with passage of “obama-care” things have only gotten worse. But if you have been paying attention, then you know that there is still a long way to go before the battle is over and the dust clears. So, it is more important now than it ever has been to stay informed of events and stay motivated to stand our ground. On that note, I encourage everyone to join us for the
SECOND ANNUAL ACADIANA TEA PARTY TAX DAY PROTEST RALLY !!
The event will consist of a back and forth mixture of two parts. Half of the event will consist of local patriots who have a good bit of knowledge about certain topics such as immigration, state legislation(s), the Constitution, activism for tomorrow, division and unity, etc. As for the other half, it will consist of YOUR voices as we again pass an “open mic” to allow all of you to express your thoughts. So come on down and let ‘em hear ya!! It may not seem like it, but trust me, they WILL be listening.
With our State Legislature beginning a new session and tackling some very important issues, it is imperative that we in Acadiana make enough noise so that they hear us all the way in Baton Rouge. So please come. Our fore-fathers didn’t back down and accept defeat even when desperate in the face of hopeless situations. And neither will we!! For we stand on the side of what is good and right about America. And we know that it is up to us to stand our ground for the things of our country which we hold so dear. To do anything less is to spit on the graves of our founding fathers, veterans and family members gone before us, who forged America into the greatest land of all humanity. And please remember that we need to get more young people involved also. So bring ‘em with ya! What we are doing is something that must be passed from one generation to the next. For they too must learn that we all have a responsibility to guard our future.
So come down and join your fellow Acadiana Tea Party patriots who believe in
Prosperity by way of Capitalism,
Freedom by way of Constitutionally Limited Government,
and Future Security by way of Fiscal Responsibility.
It will be at Putnam Park which is located at 800 Lafayette Street,
in downtown Lafayette (across from the Federal Court House).
April 15th, from 4:30 to 7:30
